Bredder, Allison

Allison Bredder is a PhD Candidate and in the Department of Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland. Her research focus is at the interface of geography and public health, where she combines remote sensing, machine learning, and epidemiological methods to understand the impact of wildfire smoke on human health. Previously, she has worked on efforts in land cover and land use change, science communication and data visualization.

Allison received her B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland where she also minored in Geographic Information Science.
