Congratulations to GEOG undergraduates Logan Daytner and Janna Chapman, who have been named 2022-23 Philip Merrill Presidential Scholars. In addition, Associate Professor Sinead Farrell has received the Philip Merrill Presidential Scholars Faculty Mentor Award for her mentorship of Daytner. The Merrill Presidential Scholars Program is a highly selective program that recognizes the University of Maryland's most successful seniors and the important role that teachers and faculty have as mentors. Learn more about the program here.
