GEOG Faculty Publishes Groundbreaking Research in Two Leading Publications
Two faculty members [George Hurtt and Cesar Izaurralde] and a Ph.D. candidate [Ritvik Sahajpal] from the Department of Geographical Sciences are in the national spotlight this week as they publish two articles in two leading scientific journals, Science and Nature.
The UMD College of Behavioral and Social Sciences (BSOS) congratulates these researchers and the department for advancing global sustainability efforts through innovation and collaboration.
“Researchers from the Department of Geographical Sciences continue to undertake cutting-edge research, publishing papers on critical aspects of biodiversity and sustainability.
