Zhong, Honglin
Bio
Honglin Zhong is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Geographical Sciences, University of Maryland, where he received his Ph.D. in 2018. His Ph.D. dissertation investigated the climate impact on agriculture using the AEZ model. He is part of the University of Maryland Harvest Hub, providing support for Harvest activities and research. He mainly focuses his post-doctoral work on regional crop production prediction using remote sensing data and agronomy statistics. He also focuses on econometric land-use change modelling and short-term projection for a NASA-IDS project, and responsible for the MRIO analysis of water footprint accounting for a research project funded by the Inter-American Development Bank. Honglin is a recipient of the Young Scientist Summer Program Fellowship at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA).
