Halliday, Kristen

Bio

Kristen Halliday is the Assistant Director of MS programs in the department of Geographical Sciences. She oversees the general administration of both the Masters in GIS and GEOINT programs including marketing, admissions, enrollment management, and student services.  She has over 10 years experience working within the department of Geographical Sciences in past roles as the undergraduate advisor and MS (formally MPS) program assistant.

Her interests lie in helping non-traditional students navigate their graduate school journey at UMD. She holds a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology and an M.A. in Higher Ed Administration, both from the University of Maryland.
