Congratulations to Ellen Platts (PhD Student) who has been named the first recipient of The Society for the Anthropology of Food and Nutrition Student Research Award! 

This is a new award supporting graduate research in food and nutritional anthropology. This award will support Ellen's dissertation fieldwork in Tucson, Arizona, which explores the impacts of the UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy initiative on heritage food practices and food justice efforts in the city.
