The project has received funding from NOAA to pursue topics focusing on religion, churches, and rural decision makers and climate change. This funding will be complemented by state funding that is to protect shorelines and address flooding issues identified by this project. This was made possible by the contributions of UMD PHD graduates and student: Christy Miller Hessed, Jo Johnson, and Liz van Dolah.
